Saharsa Fresh started with a question: why does milk in our cities taste of plastic? The answer was buried in long, opaque supply chains. So we shortened them.

One farm in Saharsa

A small piece of land in Saharsa district, Bihar — chosen for its rich alluvial soil, abundant water, and a slower rhythm that's good for cows. We started with a handful of native breed animals and an obsession with feed quality.

Our cows are raised on our own farm with organic, non-chemically-treated fodder and open grazing. We do not use growth hormones or routine antibiotics. The milk is whole and gently pasteurised for safety.

How does the QR-traceable ghee work?

Each ghee jar will have a unique QR code printed on the seal. When you scan it, you'll land on a page showing the source farmer, the village, the batch date, and the bilona method details. You can verify exactly where your ghee came from before you open the jar.

When will the ghee and edamame launch?

Do you deliver outside Saharsa?
